Whether you read a novel in Ergin Altay’s hands or Sabri Gürses’s is not a small detail — it is half the text. In most apps that line is missing, or wrong. The catalog is ours: outside sources are only ingestion channels, and getting it right is our job.
Ratings and reviews attach to the work; pages and progress attach to the edition you are holding. Keeping the two apart is what keeps the translator and the page count honest.
